HMM offers its shipping container transport services using a range of different shipping containers. As well as the standard 8ft6-high containers, which are available in lengths of 20ft and 40ft, it offers a range of specialised shipping containers for larger and bulkier cargo types. It uses super-rack containers which are up to 13ft6 tall; these are not offered by all shipping companies. Open-top and flat-rack containers are also available.

The company’s Australian branch is in the St Leonards area of Sydney. There are two services linking Australia to Asia: the Australia No. 1 Express, which sails to China, and the Australia No. 2 Express, which connects Australia with Japan, Korea and China. The vessels call at Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
