Cheapest Shipping From USA To Australia
Thanks to the Australia-United States Free Trade Agreement (AUSFTA) which came into force in 2005, many tariffs for goods entering Australia from the US have been completely removed. The agreement benefitted trade between the two countries significantly, with two-way investment between the two nations having almost tripled since the agreement came into force.
Importers still need to pay certain taxes and duties on all goods entering Australia, for example Goods and Services Tax (GST) which is 10% of the total value of the items. Certain refunds and concession schemes may apply for some manufacturers or types of goods. You can read more about the cost of importing from overseas on the Australian Border Force website. TSL can also advise you on the fees and tariffs you can expect to have to pay on your load.
