The great news is that because of the TAFTA and the AANZFTA, the economic partnership agreements between Australia and Thailand which came into force in 2005 and 2009 respectively, the import and export tariffs you pay when transferring goods to Thailand are lower than they were previously – and often non-existent.

These two agreements opened up a dynamic Asian market to Australian businesses, because they meant less export tariffs from Australia to Thailand when bringing goods into this country.
